The Revealers.
Begin brainstorming the answers with members of your group!
1. Ms. Hogeboom told Russell that everyone was reading the Revealer and that the atmosphere of the school was changing…”It was like a small revolution” (175). Explain what she means about the school culture and their affect on it.
2. Describe why The Revealers project was so successful with students and judges alike.
3. Russell, Elliot, and Catalina's hypothesis for their science fair project was "if bullying and harassment incidents were brought to light among the whole student body in a school then there will be a reduction in these incidents as well as them being less severe in nature"(194). Did the three main characters prove their hypothesis? Discuss. What is one way you could use technology to improve the school at AISD?
1-I think that what she meant was that the way people were acting after reading the revealers post was changing. People did not bully so much because they either did not want to because the posts had convinced them not to or because they new that everybody would find out. At the end of the book on page 205 Richie started acting nice to Russell by buying him a root beer.
2-The revealers project was so successful because it made victims feels safer because they could share the experiences with the school. It would also make others aware so the by standers would help or maybe the bullies would even stop because the teachers would read it.
3-Technoligy is good because we can keep in touch with peers or teachers. We can also find out about news at school at first class and you can check things like grades on power school. You can also spread the news and let everybody know about something like the revealers did about bullying .
